About me

I am an Existential Psychotherapist and Coach specialising in leadership development and coaching. My particular interest is in working with people who feel stuck in life, jobs and relationships. To kickstart any intervention, I work with the Enneagram and the Aephoria Identity Map (AIM).

The content areas where I enjoy applying this process knowledge, include sustainability leadership, innovation, strategy, governance, and inclusion. In particular,  I am interested in how maturational wisdom can support people in stressful roles in civil society and state owned enterprises. Working with boards on specifically on governance and sustainability issues is especially rewarding.

Aside from coaching, I write, teach, research and facilitate pairs, groups, and organisations that would like to energise their transformation.

I have been doing this work across most sectors and globally for more than 20 years.

Background

Starting off as an art historian and education officer for a museum, I moved into working on small business development all over Africa. The work ranged from policy work to grassroots product development for Fair Trade markets in South Africa and Europe.

This paved the way to working in sustainability, which included working on sustainability standards for the British Standards Institute, and consulting on sustainability management and reporting in the United Kingdom and South Africa .  

In 2006, I started working as a coach and facilitator which lead to co-founding Aephoria Partners in 2011.

After graduating as an Existential Psychotherapist with a doctorate in 2021, I have now established my own practice where I write, teach, coach and facilitate.
